Green Island Preserve Vortex

  Green Island Preserve is a 60-acre public space in Wadena, Minnesota, that was converted from a family farm into a nature area featuring trails, public art, and experimental orchards for community use and reflection.

  Green Island Preserve earth Vortex is located in the Freshwater pine forest. Freshwater forest is inside a small forest which is inside the city of Wadena, Minnesota located in the northern 1/3 of the state . The vortex was identified by two different geomancers using two different methods. The photo shows the approximate center but it is unclear just how large it is. One warning was that pine trees would not fare well in such a vortex. Several nearby pines have been showing illness, decline, and even death. No one has yet spent any prolonged time in this vortex and therefore there are no descriptions of it effect. - Kent
